Abbas's security forces release 42 Hamas detainees in West Bank

A day before of a new round of reconciliation talks, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's security forces released 42 Hamas detainees in the West Bank in a good-will gesture, Hamas legislator Ayman Daraghmeh said, adding that Abbas had promised to release more inmates Wednesday.
He said some 400 Hamas activists were being held in the West Bank.
