The Radaa (deterrence) force, affiliated with Hamas's military wing, Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, claimed to have "dealt a severe blow" to Hamas opposition Yasser Abu Shabab's "Popular Forces" militia in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday.

The terror group's statement, published by both the al-Qassam Brigades and Hamas's official media agency SAFA, claimed that they arrested "a number of militia members and confiscated military equipment and tools" used by the militia.

The organization did not meet any "significant resistance," as they carried out the operation following "days" of monitoring the militia, the statement claimed.

Violence between Hamas, 'collaborators' recurring since ceasefire

The deterrence force also claims to have carried out similar raids against Abu Shabab's militia several times in October, including on October 17, October 15, October 13, and October 2, according to previous SAFA reports.

Not all of these events have been independently corroborated; however, Reuters reported on clashes between Hamas-affiliated terrorists and those it has labelled as "collaborators" on October 13, noting that at least 32 Gazans had been killed by Hamas-affiliated terrorists at that time.

Independent sources also corroborated clashes on October 11, including in Gaza City and Beit Lahiya.

Violence has also occurred in the Gaza Strip since Israel and Hamas signed a ceasefire earlier this month, including between terrorists affiliated with the group and influential clans within the strip, most notably members of the Doghmush clan.

Saleh Aljafarawi, a well-known social media influencer affiliated with Hamas known as "Mr. FAFO", was killed by an anti-Hamas militia in the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City, Hamas's Al-Aqsa TV confirmed on Sunday.

According to reports, Aljafarawi - one of the most prominent pro-Hamas voices online in the Gaza Strip - was found shot in the head.

He was reportedly killed while reporting on clashes between Hamas-affiliated terrorists and the Doghmush clan.
