An IDF soldier was moderately wounded as a result of terrorist gunfire during an operation in Nablus in the West Bank, the IDF announced on Sunday morning.
The IDF has begun a manhunt for the terrorist.
The soldier was taken to the hospital for medical care, and his family was notified.

IDF troops shoot terrorist who tried to carry out ramming near Hebron
A terrorist attempted to ram Nahal Brigade soldiers who were on patrol in the Harat al-Sheikh area of the West Bank, near Hebron, on Saturday.
The soldiers responded with gunfire and killed him at the scene.
No injuries to IDF troops were reported.
The IDF said the details are still under investigation, and that "no clear data has been found to indicate that this was a deliberate terror attack."

Israeli security forces detained three suspects at Shavei Shomron junction in Samaria in the West Bank on Thursday on suspicion of setting fire to four Palestinian vehicles with Molotov cocktails, the IDF reported.
