Turkey will contribute troops to Gaza's International Stabilization Force, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during the inaugural Board of Peace meeting on Thursday in Washington, DC. 

In addition, five countries have committed troops to the International Stabilization Force, the force's commander, Maj.-Gen. Jasper Jeffers said at the meeting.

"I'm incredibly pleased to announce today that the first five countries have committed troops to serve in the ISF - Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Albania. Two countries have committed to train police - Egypt and Jordan," Jeffers said.

Indonesia will contribute 8,000 or more troops to an international security force for Gaza, Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto added.

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that his country would deploy military units, including medical units, to the new International Stabilization Force.

UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait pledge a collective $3.2b to support Gaza through BoP

The United Arab Emirates pledged $1.2 billion to support Gaza via the Board of Peace, UAE deputy prime minister Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum said at the BoP meeting.

Representatives from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait each pledged $1 billion.

In addition, the US pledged $10 billion, and FIFA president Gianni Infantino pledged a further $75 million.

Several nations pledge to help rebuild Gazan infrastructure

Kazakhstan did not specify a dollar amount, but President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that the state is ready to contribute a significant amount of cash directly to the Board of Peace without delay, and is also prepared to supply wheat as part of a food assistance package.

Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said his country is ready to provide the necessary infrastructure and skills to establish an effective digital government services platform for Gaza.

Similarly, Romania's President Nicusor Dan said his nation could help rebuild emergency services, schools, and institutions such as the police and justice systems, and Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said Romania is ready to help rebuild schools, childcare facilities, and hospitals in Gaza.

Gazan transitional police force

Two thousand Palestinians have applied to join Gaza's transitional police force, Board of Peace high representative for Gaza Nickolay Mladenov said during the BoP meeting.

Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated that his country will continue its effort to train Palestinian police personnel to maintain security within the Strip.
