Gunmen opened fire on Shi'ite pilgrims in two separate incidents around Baghdad on Monday, killing five people, police said.
Three people were killed and six wounded in the Bab al-Muadam area of northern Baghdad around midmorning, police said.
Earlier, two Shi'ite pilgrims were killed in south Baghdad's Dora neighborhood, police there said.
