Blair wants to draw down troops in Iraq

Britain should be able to substantially reduce its troop commitment in Iraq as the country's government develops its own security forces, British Prime Minister Tony Blair said Monday. Blair declined to say how long British troops might remain in Iraq. "What's happening now in Iraq is that the Iraqi security forces and the army are building up their capability and as that happens, we can draw down," Blair told Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio.
