The international diplomatic Quartet working for peace in the Middle East is planning to meet next week in Lisbon, a Portuguese Foreign Ministry official said Friday.
Senior officials from the United States, the European Union, the United Nations and Russia will attend the meeting, but there was no confirmation on whether Tony Blair, named last month as the Quartet's special Mideast envoy, would be present, the official said.
