Hamas special unit arrests six Palestinians

A special unit of the Hamas faction arrested six Palestinians in Khan Younis on suspicion that they were planning to abduct foreign citizens, Israel Radio reported on Monday. The unit's spokesman said that the Palestinians shot at the UN's welfare and employment agency UNRA, and that they planned to abduct some of the agency's employees. The detainees said they were planning to abduct the UN employees in protest of the execution of Saddam's Hussein's aides, Barzan Ibrahim and Awad Hamed al-Bandar, who were hanged earlier Monday.
