A US fighter pilot who ejected from her aircraft during a friendly-fire incident in Kuwait on Monday was quickly surrounded by local residents who rushed to check on her safety.

Footage circulating on social media shows a few Kuwaiti citizens approaching the pilot after she parachuted to the ground.

“Are you fine? Do you need anything? You are safe. Thank you for helping us,” one man can be heard saying in the video.

The footage reportedly comes from a Monday incident in which Kuwaiti air defenses mistakenly shot down three US F-15 fighter jets during active combat operations.

All six crew members aboard the aircraft ejected safely and were later recovered in stable condition, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.

In a separate incident the same day, smoke was seen rising near the US Embassy in Kuwait, with firefighters and ambulances dispatched to the area, a witness told Reuters.

Kuwait’s Defense Ministry later confirmed that several aircraft had crashed, but said all crewmembers had survived.

Separately, four US soldiers were killed on Sunday when a drone struck a US military facility in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait.

The Pentagon announced their deaths on Tuesday, making them the first American soldiers killed during Operation Epic Fury. The Trump administration had previously warned that the intensifying conflict could lead to American casualties.

The Pentagon said the four soldiers, who ranged in age from 20 to 42, served in the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, Iowa, part of the US Army’s global logistics and supply network.

So far, six US soldiers have been killed during Operation Epic Fury.
