The IDF struck and destroyed checkpoints and roadblocks set up by the Iranian regime’s Basij militia in Tehran, the military said on Thursday.

The Israeli Air Force, guided by IDF intelligence, struck the checkpoints and Basij militia members, furthering the degradation of Iranian Internal Security and Basij assets.

According to the IDF, the Basij has been responsible for carrying out terror attacks as part of the regime's security apparatus, as well as violently suppressing domestic anti-regime protests.
