Israeli and Palestinian Authority officials met Sunday night to finalize preparations for the opening of the Rafah border crossing scheduled to take place at the end of the week.
Maj.-Gen. (res.) Amos Gilad, head of the Defense Ministry's political and security division, and Brig-Gen. Eitan Dangot met with PA official Mohammed Dahlan and US Ambassador Richard H. Jones to discuss the issue.
