Quartet meets in Jordan, supports Annapolis follow-up gathering in Moscow
By JERUSALEM POST STAFF
Representatives of the Quartet of Mideast peace negotiators have met in Amman to discuss whether to hold a follow-up meeting in Moscow to last fall's Annapolis conference.
The Russian ITAR-Tass agency says the Thursday meeting has approved the proposal but there is no immediate confirmation of the report from any member of the quartet - the United States, the European Union, Russia and the United Nations.
The Annapolis, Maryland, conference relaunched Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.
