Tel Aviv Air, a German-based virtual airline dedicated to providing direct flights from Tel Aviv to Hamburg exclusively, announced it has closed its business operations and filed for bankruptcy on Tuesday.
Launched 13 months ago in April 2021, the airline's inaugural flight only took off from Hamburg two months ago after it was twice delayed previously due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, the short-lived airline has now entered insolvency and announced all planned flights and bookings have been canceled.
