Lil Nas X was reportedly arrested after the musician allegedly assaulted a police officer in Los Angeles when law enforcement responded to a call that the rapper was wandering around nearly naked through the streets of Los Angeles, officials told People Magazine.

A spokesperson for the LAPD told the magazine that police had responded to a report of a man “nude in the street” on Ventura Blvd. just before 6 a.m. on Thursday.

The official added that the man went on to “batter an officer, so he was booked for battery on a [police officer].”
