"The Iranian Ring of Fire" is the military-regional strategy that posed the greatest existential threat to Israel, at least according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the security establishment.
The Iranians managed to "encircle" Israel through armed proxy organizations – Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Houthis, and the Shiite militias in Iraq. These proxy forces were intended to create multiple fronts for Israel, weaken it, and provide Iran with a strategic advantage – especially in the event that its nuclear project would be attacked by Israel.
On October 7, the "Iranian Ring of Fire" had a one-time opportunity to attack Israel from all fronts and cause broad, deep, massive, and strategic damage, but this did not happen, thanks to (then-US president) Joe Biden, who is so despised by the right-wing-Netanyahu camp. Since the ring, primarily due to impressive military actions, it has weakened significantly.
Alongside the Iranian Ring of Fire, a much more effective strategy against Israel and the Zionist idea has developed. The "Qatari Ring of Fire" is not really a ring of fire. It’s more like a parasite that enters the body and is very hard to get rid of. It may even be cancer.
Unlike the Iranians who were around us, Qatar has managed to infiltrate within us.
This week, the giant Israeli shipping company ZIM was sold to a German company, which itself sold significant shares to Qatar (which has purchased and continues to purchase many international assets). The Institute for Maritime Policy and Strategy even published an urgent position paper stating that "selling the shipping company ZIM to foreign hands constitutes a strategic and security threat to Israel's resilience."
According to the position paper, "The fact that ZIM ensures the continuity of Israel’s maritime supply – through which about 99% of the country's foreign trade passes – obligates the government to veto the transfer of control to a foreign entity, especially companies influenced by the capital and interests of countries like Qatar and Saudi Arabia."
ZIM is not just an Israeli infrastructure that must remain in Israeli hands or at least Western hands, and certainly must not pass into Qatari or Saudi hands, but it is also very important to the security establishment. What must not be written about ZIM is very well known to everyone in the security establishment, the Prime Minister's Office, and Israeli intelligence agencies.
ZIM is not just a strategic infrastructure asset; it is a critical strategic asset for Israel’s security, and therefore, there is no alternative but to prevent the sale of its parts to the enemy state, which funded Hamas and the October 7 massacre.
Of course, this is not the only link in the "Qatari Ring of Fire" that is suffocating Israel and dismantling it from within.
Qatar's well-known and researched influence on the PMO is probably the most severe case of betrayal in Israel's history, and it is also part of the "Ring of Fire."

Just as Qatar influenced Arab states through Al Jazeera and influencers purchased with Qatari money, Qatar does the same in Israel in various ways (e.g., Israeli PR offices working with Qatar and being part of Benjamin Netanyahu’s poisoning machine).
Of course, it doesn’t end there. Cancer spreads and does a much better job at destroying the body it is in than external threats. According to estimates, Qatar has invested about 800 million to 1 billion shekels in Israeli high-tech since 2020. It invests significantly – under the radar – in cyber, security technologies, and infrastructure protection systems.
According to estimates, Qatar is the second-largest investor from the Gulf states in Israeli high-tech (after the UAE), with its education system being Islamist and teaching that Zionists and Jews are enemies.
Additionally, Israeli defense companies have signed significant contracts to sell advanced cyber technologies to Qatar, with reports indicating deals have been signed with companies like Elbit Systems and Rafael, sometimes with the approval of senior figures (some of whom are also linked to "Qatargate").
Qatar, Iran’s main partner in the world’s largest natural gas field, also expressed interest in Israeli tools for securing oil and gas infrastructures, using companies specializing in securing operational technologies. It takes advantage of the greed of some of Israel’s "economic elite" to sell it Israeli developments and secrets.
Qatar, the home of Hamas and other terrorist organizations, which is known to have conducted influence operations involving paying Israeli figures to change public opinion in Israel, is a much greater existential threat than the Iranian Ring of Fire because it has tentacles in every part of Israel’s body.
What is clear is that with the current government, led by a prime minister for whom a state inquiry committee has stated he knowingly endangered Israel’s security for economic reasons, there will be no fight against the Qatari cancer.
After the slaughter government, if it falls in fair elections, great efforts must be made to cleanse the State of Israel from Qatari influence. This is true for the political sector, the public sector (including the Shin Bet and Mossad), the high-tech sector, and in general, everywhere Qatar has touched with its dirty money.
If we do not cleanse Israel of the Qatari parasite, we will experience much greater disasters than the October 7 massacre.
