Labor: Eldad's demand to indict Barak 'incitement'

Labor on Friday slammed MK Arye Eldad's demand to indict Defense Minister Ehud Barak. "Eldad's incitement deserves public condemnation. Eldad is thus joining an irresponsible group whose members are in both the Likud and Kadima," the Labor statement said. "Let us not forget where similar high-toned criticism led us on the eve of the Second Lebanon War," it added. Earlier Friday, Eldad had called on Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz to indict Barak, saying his decision to open Gaza crossings and enable the passage of humanitarian aid while Israel is under fire constitutes aiding an enemy during war.
