Lieberman to leave Sunday for Japan

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman is due to leave Sunday on an official visit to Japan, the Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday.

Lieberman is scheduled to meet with Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada and other senior officials for discussions on bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, said the ministry.

He is expected to return to Israel on Thursday.
