State Comptroller to examine building reform
State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss announced Tuesday that his office would start investigating the planned building reform on suspicion that misconduct and nepotism had taken place during the first stages of the legislation.

Lindenstrauss appeared before the Knesset State Control Committee, headed by MK Yoel Hasson (Kadima).

Foreign Minister Yuval Steinitz, who was also present at the meeting, said that while Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had appointed his political associates to positions within the legislative committee, such a practice was commonplace even in the White House.
