Knesset c'tee to hold emergency meeting on field violence
The Knesset Education, Culture and Sport Committee will hold an emergency meeting during the spring recess on Tuesday, to discuss soccer-related violence and the Israel Football Association.

"In light of the constant violence in Israeli soccer, we must create a neutral mechanism that will stop all those who plan to misbehave and stop violence from breaking out morning and night," Education, Culture and Sport Committee chairman Alex Miller (Yisrael Beytenu) said.

According to Miller, the Knesset must make sure that "soccer fields do not become battlefields," in order to keep Israeli soccer alive.
