Foreign Ministry cuts ties with IDF, Shin Bet
By HERB KEINON
06/06/2013
The Foreign Ministry's workers' committee ratcheted up its labor dispute on Thursday, announcing the ministry was cutting all contact with the IDF and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).

The move came as a result of logistical assistance the IDF and Shin Bet have been asked to provide Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and six other ministers and deputy ministers flying to Poland next week. The Prime Minister's Office turned to those organizations to help prepare and provide logistics for the trip, since the Foreign Ministry – because of the sanctions – refused to do so.

The Foreign Ministry workers are striking for better wages, conditions, and to ensure "good governance" at the ministry in Jerusalem.
