World's oldest Jew Evelyn Kozak dies at the age of 113

New York-born Evelyn Kozak, recognized as the oldest Jewish person in the world, died at the age of 113 after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday, the Jewish Chronicle reported. She was buried in Queens.

Kozak, a mother of five, attributed her longevity to her healthy lifestyle. She outlived two of her children and two husbands, and survived two strokes and the Spanish flu, according to the Chronicle.

She has 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
