IDF stop foreign ship suspected of weapons smuggling
The Israeli Navy on Monday confirmed its forces stopped a foreign ship last December on receipt of intelligence information that the ship was carrying weapons.

The IDF said in a statement that the move was made as part of ongoing operations to combat smuggling.

The IDF arrested suspects in the Red Sea. According to the statement, suspects were detained and interrogated by security forces in Israel, but were eventually released after no weapons were found on the ship.
