IDF chief Gantz in Brussels for NATO summit

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz traveled to Brussels on Tuesday to take part in a summit of NATO chiefs of staff. Gantz will participate in a Mediterranean Dialogue Forum and speak with NATO counterparts, the IDF said.

During meetings, he will lay out the security challenges faced by the State of Israel and the IDF, and
the rising threat of global terrorism. Deputy Chief of Staff. Maj.-Gen. Gai Eizenkot, will fill in as chief of staff until Gantz returns.
