Palestinian driver runs into, injures 4 soldiers
A Palestinian driver ran into and lightly injured four Border Policemen on Saturday night near the West Bank village of Beit Umar.

An officer shot at the wheels of the vehicle that hit the troops and stopped the driver, Israel Radio reported.

The injured troops were evacuated for medical treatment to Hadassah University Medical Center, in Jerusalem's Ein Kerem.

According to the driver, he had accidentally hit the troops guarding the road when he stepped on the acceleration instead of the brake pedal.

The incident was being investigated.
