Arab MKs Sarsour and Zahalka banned from Knesset Staff
The Knesset's Ethics Committee decided on Tuesday to ban Arab MKs Ibrahim Sarsour (UAL) and Jamal Zahalka (Balad) from the Knesset plenum. The two were disciplined for calling Defense Minister Amir Peretz a "child killer" and Likud chairman Binyamin Netanyahu a "criminal." The committee ruled that Sarsour be suspended for one Knesset session and Zahalka for three.
