UK Prime Minister backs UN response to shelling of its school in Gaza
British Prime Minister David Cameron commented on Sunday's shelling of a UN-run school in Gaza that left ten Palestinians dead and several others wounded, calling it "an appalling loss of life."

Speaking to the BBC on Monday he called for an "immediate, comprehensive, humanitarian ceasefire,"and said the UN was right to speak out in the way that it had "because international law is very clear that the use of force always has to be proportionate and civilians should not be targeted."
