Protester allegedly sets fire to electric pole Staff
A haredi youth was arrested Wednesday evening in Jerusalem on suspicion that he set fire to an electric pole in the capital's Malkhei Israel neighborhood during protests over the planned Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade. The damage caused to the pole was expected to interfere with the supply of electricity to a number of the city's haredi neighborhoods.
