Rock dinosaur sightings forecast over Israel
The Scorpions, Deep Purple, Foreigner and Blue Oyster Cult will party like it’s 1976.
Whoever said dinosaurs are extinct has not taken a gander at the upcoming lineup of fabled international acts coming to Israel.

Germany’s most famous hard rock exports, The Scorpions, will be returning to Tel Aviv as part of their 50th anniversary tour for a show at the Menorah Mivtachim Arena on July 14.

British metal pioneers Deep Purple, who have enthralled Israeli audience multiple times, will do it again with their veteran lineup performing on May 22 at Live Park in Rishon Lezion.

Arena rock favorites Foreigner will follow up their successful 2014 shows here with two more performances at the Caesarea Amphitheater on June 14 and 15.

And in their Israel debut, American “Don’t Fear the Reaper” rockers Blue Oyster Cult will lumber into the Wohl Amphitheater at Hayarkon Park on July 28. The band, which was more multi-faceted than most of their thudding contemporaries, features two vintage members – Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser and Eric Bloom.
