Report: Netanyahu expressed willingness to take part in summit with Abbas in Cairo

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his willingness to participate in a three-wait summit in Cairo along with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, Al Arabiya reported on Monday.

The proposal reportedly came in a meeting between Netanyahu and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, who visited Jerusalem on Sunday.

The Prime Minister's Office said in response to the report: "Whether on not this issue was raised [with the Egyptian foreign minister], Israel says that it is always ready for direct , bilateral negotiations without pre-conditions."
