The trade and services industry provided work for 387 recently discharged soldiers in 2006, representing 46% of the army graduates who entered the work force, the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce said Wednesday.
The trade and services industry provided work for 387 recently discharged soldiers in 2006, representing 46% of the army graduates who entered the work force, the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce said Wednesday. The FICC said 274 ex-soldiers, or 32% of the total entering the job market, went entered the industrial sector, while 184, or 22%, found work in the public sector. In total, 845 released soldiers found work last year, the FICC said.
