The agreement is in the framework of the Kazakhstan efforts to join the World Trade Organization.
Israeli exporters will have better access to the market in Kazakhstan after Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor Eli Yishai signed an agreement with that country's deputy trade minister Zhanar Aizhanova to encourage trade between the two. The agreement is in the framework of the Kazakhstan efforts to join the World Trade Organization. The ministry said the agreement gave Israel a significant tax reduction on preference products from the industrial and agriculture sectors down from between 10 percent and 15% to between zero and 5%. Trade between the two countries grew 5% to $70 million last year, the ministry said.
