Ammonia leak: Roads, railway stations in Akko and Nahariya closed
By MAARIV ONLINE
06/27/2019
Due to concerns of an ammonia leak from a factory in Acre, and the instructions of the rescuers, the railway stations of Acre and Nahariya were closed.

The railway line to Karmiel is operating normally. The police have also closed traffic routes in the Acre area and evacuated civilians from the scene, as well as a nearby mall.

The 100 emergency call center received reports from citizens of eye burning incidents in the Acre vicinity near one of the factories, at the intersection of Ben Ami Street and Route 4. As a result, the public areas and the shopping center around the factories were evacuated and closed.
