Olmert says Mofaz 'losing his self control' Staff
After Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz accused Prime Minister Ariel Sharon of working against his candidacy to head the Likud, Finance Minister Ehud Olmert said he "got the feeling that Mofaz was losing his self control a bit." Speaking to Israel Radio Wednesday morning, Olmert commented that Mofaz's behavior was disappointing to both him and Sharon. He also criticized the defense minister's request for what he called an unnecessarily large budget to deal with problems on the Egyptian border. "It is not necessary to expend such large sums, just to ensure a success rate of a million percent," Olmert noted.
