Synchronized swimmers Ester Levy and Viktoria Yarmolinskaya recorded Israel's best showing in the duet category at a European championship, finishing seventh on Sunday in Budapest. The young Levy, standing in for Anastasia Gloushkov, teamed with Yarmolinskaya to score 87.7 points in the final - 11.1 less than gold medal winners Anastasia Davydova and Anastassia Ermakova of Russia. Eighteen teams began competing in the duet on Thursday. The result is an improvement of three spots over the 10th place Yarmolinskaya and Gloushkov achieved two years ago at the European Championships in Madrid.
