Ram, Erlich come up short

Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich came within a few points of defending their ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament title on Sunday, but came up short in the final in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Australian Paul Hanley and Zimbabwean partner Kevin Ullyett held on for a 7-6(4), 7-6(2) win. The Israelis, who were playing in the Rotterdam final for the third year in a row, will return to Israel on Monday. Ram will take place in this week's Joyce Eisenberg futures in Ra'anana, his first singles event since August. The doubles star will open against the third seed, Monaco's Benjamin Balleret.
