Guy Barnea broke the 100 meter backstroke Israeli record for a second time in a week on Thursday night, clocking a time of 55.11 seconds at the Wingate Institute.
The 20-year-old, who shattered Eitan Orbach's seven-year-old Israeli record at the European Union Trophy in Paris last week, improved his previous best by 10 hundredths of a second.
Anya Gostomelsky set her second Israeli record in as many days on Thursday, finishing the 200m freestyle in 2:02.27m.
On Wednesday, the 26-year-old improved her record in the 100m free by 81 hundredths of a second.
A third Israeli record was set in the 4x50 medley, with Hapoel Jerusalem finishing in a time of 1:42.89m.
In the most exciting race of Thursday night, Nimrod Shapira Bar-Or edged Shai Livnat by four hundredths of a second in the 200m freestyle. Bar-Or clocked a time of 1: 50.06m to claim his third gold medal of the championships.
In the 100m backstroke 14-year-old Anat Zimin and Dani Kama finished in an identical time of 1:06.07m and shared the gold.
Nastasia Korotkov claimed the title in the women's 400m individual medley, ending the race in 5:08.89m. The men's 400m I.M. was won by Gal Nevo in 4: 24.82m.
Da'ae Masrawa defended her 50m breaststroke title on Thursday, finishing in a time of 33.72s, with Miki Malul winning the men's race in 28.24s .
