Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich will take part in the prestigious season-ending Masters Cup after all. The Israelis will replace the world's No. 1 doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan, who pulled out of the event on Monday after Mike failed to recover from an injury he picked up in Paris 24 hours earlier. Ram and Erlich seemed destined to miss out on the tournament in Shanghai after they dropped to No. 9 in the ATP doubles race following their first round defeat in Paris last week. Monday's news, however, means the Israelis will now have to cancel their holiday plans and leave for China in the coming days. Only eight doubles teams will take part in the Masters Cup and the Israelis will be playing in the event for a second straight year. "We would like to announce that we received a call from the ATP notifying us that we are in the Masters due to an injury to one of the other players," Ram and Erlich said on Monday. "We are very excited, but we now need to settle down and focus ahead of the tournament."
