Ramon Airport

Wizz Air plans to launch Eilat–Budapest flights in March as part of an agreement to establish two bases in Israel, at Ben-Gurion and Ramon airports, pending regulatory approval.

The Jerusalem Post has received indications that since the September attack by the Houthis, there has been some improvement in security for Ramon Airport, but far from sufficient.

Váradi told the transportation minister during their meeting that “In the next three years, we will add 4,000 jobs in Israel, and about 500 employees will be hired directly by Wizz.”
