Death toll in Nepal flood tops 1,000 as Nepal rescuers reach remote areas in search

At least 639 people remain stuck in several devastated hydropower stations that have become the focus of rescue efforts, the country's disaster management authority said on Tuesday.

Heavy rains and deadly floods in southern India kill 14, displace thousands

The death toll in rain-related incidents rose to 11 by Sunday, and nearly 7,700 people were evacuated to around 275 relief camps across Kerala, a state government minister said.
