Japan volcano causes damage

Shinmoe peak erupts in southern Japan causing damages to buildings, one person injured.

Hot ash and rocks explode 2,000 meters into the air as Shinmoe (shEEn-moh-eh) peak continues to rumble in southern Japan.
The peak is located in the Kirishima (kee-ree-SHEE-ma) mountain range on the island of Kyushu (Q-shoe).
Residents in several towns have been affected... the erruption blew out glass windows in homes and schools.
Towns downwind of the volcano have been covered in a layer of ash and soot.
Others living inside the 4-km danger zone have been evacuated to emergency shelters.
