Keeping traditions from the old country is important for immigrants from the United States, no matter how tough. That is why Debbie Goldsmith, an olah from Cleveland, traveled a half hour to Jerusalem and fifteen minutes to Maaleh Adumim to find rare Thanksgiving foods.
Debbie and her husband Josh invited 50 people from the Alon settlement to eat the Thanksgiving feast and watch the previous year’s Thanksgiving day parade.
