Nine Israelis were successfully extracted from Ramallah Wednesday evening after entering Palestinian Authority administered territory.
According to Channel 10 reports, journalist Miron Rapaport was among the Israelis that traveled to Ramallah in hopes of participating in a breaking of the fast event for Ramadan.
The vehicle which the Israelis were traveling in caught fire after local Palestinians threw rock and Molotov cocktails at it, however the passengers were successfully evacuated without injury.
After being evacuated, the nine were transferred to law enforcement investigators as the entrance into PA administered territory is strictly prohibited.
The evacuation was conducted via joint IDF-PA cooperation.
