There was an attempted stabbing attack in Hebron near the Tomb of the Patriarchs Saturday afternoon, Border Police reported. A female approached the Bakery checkpoint in Hebron near the tomb. When she arrived at the barrier, she pulled out a knife and ran towards Israeli Border Police officers stationed there.Officers called for her to halt and disarm, and she stopped and threw the knife to the ground without police having to use force.The suspect was arrested and taken in for questioning by Border Police.
