Border Police officers at a checkpoint near the West Bank city of Jenin arrested on Wednesday afternoon four Palestinian suspects, who were allegedly planning attacks on Israeli security forces.
During searches, security forces uncovered a number of pipe bombs in possession of the suspects, police reported.
Security forces arrested the suspects and confiscated the explosive devices for neutralization.
During initial investigations at the scene, the suspects revealed their intention to carry out an attack against Israeli forces.
According police, the four suspects were residents of the Nablus area. They were set to be transferred for investigation by the Shin Bet.
Additional forces were at the scene.
