The work of 54 Israeli photographers has been selected to be displayed at the "Local Testimony" exhibition at the Land of Israel Museum in Tel Aviv, which is this year being held alongside the prestigious World Press Photo exhibit. Among those whose work was selected for the local exhibition is Jerusalem Post sports photographer Asaf Kliger. Since the "Local Testimony" was first held in 2003, hundreds of thousands have visited the exhibition, which has become a major draw in the field of newspaper and magazine photography in Israel. According to the exhibition's Website, "the pictures chosen capture moments with both a media value and a human significance. So the exhibition is also a retrospective on the events of the past year as reflected in its main categories: news, culture and art, nature and environment, portraits, daily life and sports." The exhibition will run from December 16 through January 16. The winner in each of the ten categories will be announced on December 10.
