The Central District Prosecution submitted an indictment on Monday to Tel Aviv's magistrate court against 3 Israeli men involved in illegal organ trafficking.

According to different reports, the three belonged to an organ trading ring that worked in Israel as well as abroad. It appears that the perpetrators located ill men and women in need of a kidney transplant from live donors, and offered them a transplant in return for large sums of money. They operated in Turkey, Bulgaria, Thailand and the Philippines, completing 14 illegal kidney transplants.
