In one of two planned events protesting the hike in electricity rates, activists plan to hold a torchlight  march Tuesday night from Jerusalem's Gan Hasus to the Prime Minster's Residence at 9 p.m.

On Wednesday, activists are calling for the entire country to turn off their lights for five minutes in order to protest the 10 percent rate increase that took effect Tuesday.
