Afghanistan: 12 policemen died in suicide bombing

KABUL, Afghanistan — Afghan officials say two suicide bombers have struck the police headquarters for Paktika province in southeastern Afghanistan, killing at least 12 policemen and wounding 16.

Gen. Daud Andarabi, spokesman for the regional police commander in southeastern Afghanistan, says Saturday's attack took place inside the police compound.Mokhlis Afghan, the spokesman for Paktika's provincial governor, confirmed there was an attack at the headquarters.
