Ahamdinejad calls for expanded relations with Latin America

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad expressed interest in extending ties and cooperation with the nations of Latin America on Tuesday at a meeting with Peru's ambassador to Iran, Javier Paolini Velarde, semi-official Iranian news agency Press TV reported.

"There is a great potential for expansion of mutual ties (between Iran and Peru) which can be employed to the interests of the two nations," IRNA quoted President Ahmadinejad as saying.

Ahmadinejad added that Iran and all of the nations of Latin America can share their expertise to the benefit of all parties.
