An Arkia flight that took off from Ben-Gurion Airport on Thursday destined for the Greek island of Rhodes was forced to turn back after it was learned that the runway at the arriving terminal was unfit for landing, according to Israel Radio.

All flights from Israel to Rhodes have been delayed due to a large pit that has made landing unsafe.
